Hana Bushyhead , an EBCI tribal member, has received the Critical Language Scholarship, one of the most competitive scholarships in the country with an acceptance rate of just 10 percent. She will participate in the intensive language program in Himeji, Japan in May 2014. Bushyhead, a sophomore at the University of Minnesota majoring in architecture with three minors (landscape architecture, design, and Japanese language and literature), previously studied in Tokyo.
