The New Kituwah Parent Association sold raffle tickets on a 16GB IPod Touch that was donated by the Cherokee Indian Police Dept. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go toward Christmas gifts for the students. The drawing was held on Friday, Nov. 16. The Association asked Garfield Long, Jr. to draw the winning ticket and the winner was Teresa Wolfe.
“Congratulations Teresa,” said NKPA officials. “Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. Your support is greatly appreciated!”
The NKPA is currently running another raffle for a $250 gift card to Walmart and a $250 gift card to Target. Two winners will be selected. Tickets are $2/each or 8 for $10 and the drawing will occur on Friday, Dec. 7.
