SANTA BRAVES NEWS
Christmas Store and Food Pantry Efforts
The Santa Braves will be working with Club and School Staff on their campaign to raise funds and collect toys for the Family Support Christmas Store and Food Pantry.  Chances are you will see these young athletes in the crowd at the Christmas Parade on Saturday evening collecting non-perishable foods and selling “stockings” to raise funds for these programs.  Show your support and giving spirit to these young folks as they work to make a difference in the life of a child or family this holiday season.  The Boys Club will be sponsoring a float in the parade.

If you would like to donate food, funds or time, please contact Barbara Jones or a member of her staff at the Family Support office in Birdtown at 497-6092.

GOOD LUCK IN THE PLAYOFFS!
Good luck to the Swain County Maroon Devils and Murphy Bulldogs as they vie for the State 1-A and 1-AA Titles this coming weekend in Winston-Salem and Raleigh.  It is great to have our neighboring mountain teams and enrolled members represented in these playoff games!  We are also grateful to Swain County as they have chartered Cherokee Boys Club coaches for their transportation to the playoffs!
