Aaron Clifford Gloyne, 28, of Cherokee died on Friday, October 1, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Asheville, NC. After an extended illness.
Born Tuesday, September 14, 1982 in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the son of Geoffrey Gloyne and Pamela Kienenberger. He was the husband of Marian Heather Gloyne.
He was an avid Denver broncos Football fan and loved the Atlanta braves baseball team. He was a loving father, Son, Husband, Brother, Uncle Son-In -Law and friend.
Surviving are sons: Jimmie, Jarius, Juddson, Jayma Gloyne all of Cherokee, brothers: James Gloyne , Rueben Sharpless and Chino West all of Cherokee, sisters Dawn and Melissa Gloyne of Cherokee and Kassandra Gloyne of Alabama, and his step mother Benita Gloyne. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Kim Crowe and Hilda Crowe and mother-in-law Kathy “Mama” West all of Cherokee.
Aaron was preceded in death by brothers Jeremiah Gloyne and Clifford Keinenberger, grandparents Dan and Dinah Gloyne.
Funeral services are Monday, October 4th at 2pm at the Rock Spring Baptist Church, Cherokee, NC. Pastors Greg Morgan and Rev. Bo Parris will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Rueben Sharpless, Andy Frede, Steven Jenkins, Daniel Taylor, Chino West, Jason Hallum. Interment will be in the Davis Cemetery in Cherokee.
The family received friends Sunday, October 3rd from 6pm until the hour of service at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
