Mildred “Millie” Gallimore Nance, age 89, died Sunday June 20, 2010 at her residence in Cherokee, NC after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Nance was a native of Davidson County and a former resident of Denton, NC she is the daughter of the late Ed and Lillie Gallimore and the wife of the late Lester Nance.
Mrs. Nance is survived by her two sons Wayne Nance of Columbia, SC and Larry Nance of Taylorsville, NC; her daughter Helen Bradey of Cherokee, NC.; her brothers Ray Gallimore of Denton, NC, Robert Gallimore of Lexington, NC; her sisters Jewel dean Franks of Denton, NC Virgie Jackson of Denton, NC and Gladys Metters of Lexington, NC. In addition she is survived by two Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Fridy at Sherrill Cemetery in Cherokee, NC with the Rev. Larry Bryson Officiating.
