Barbara T. Owle, age 68, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Owle was born Oct. 14, 1952, in Cherokee to the late Tom Teesateskie and the late Jeanette Rattler Teesateskie.

Desiree Joyce “Desi” George, age 62, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 at Cherokee Indian Hospital following a brief illness.

Sandra Leigh Ledford Robbins, 41, of Whittier, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.  She was born on April 10, 1980 to Gail Ledford Johnson, who survives her. 

Carolyn Sue Bird, 62, of the Snowbird Community, passed away on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021.  She was born in Swain County on June 12, 1959 to the late William Bird and Ellen Bird who survives her. 

Jalee Monique Panther, 19-year-old daughter of Jamie Panther and Jami Kirkland, born July 2, 2002 passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021.

Stancil Jumper Jr., age 91, passed away on Monday, Aug. , 2021 at Tsali Care Center after an extended illness. He is the son of the late Stancil Jumper Sr. and Nola Long Teleskie.

aul LeRoy Lambert left his earthly home on Saturday, Aug. 21 to be with his Father in Heaven whom he strived daily to serve, glorify, and honor. Paul was born on Dec. 24, 1945 to Paul Lambert Sr and Evelyn G Shields Lambert in Saline, Mich.

Dezman Tre Crow, age 24, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021. He is the son of the late Jason “Crowbar” Crow and Brenda Wildcatt.
