Anita Nickole “Chickky” Flippo, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 at her residence.

Delbert Carslyle Walk Jr “JD”, age 67, of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022.

Vivian West Solis, age 59, of the Big Cove Community in Cherokee, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Geneva West.

Ronnie Steven Swisher passed away on Friday, Feb. 4.

Charlie Toineeta, 71, of the Big Cove Community, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 4, 2022.

Cecil Doc Queen, age 85, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022. Cecil was born in Whittier and later moved to Detroit, Mich. in the early 1950s where he married his sweetheart Julia and began his family.

Loretta Rattler Adams, 65, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022 after battling dementia for several years.

Hazel Gunter Young, 87, of Whittier, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.
