Simpson Queen Jr., 80, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023 while at Mission Hospitals Memorial Campus.

Betty Jeanne Tahquette, 77, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, after a brief illness.

Nancy Plemmons, 81, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023. She was the daughter of the late George Bradley and Tiney “Bigmeat” Thompson. 

Tina Diane Farmer, 45, of Cullowhee, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 23, 2023.  A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of Diana Queen Van Etten of Cullowhee and the late Roger Van Etten.

Homer Lee Thompson, age 36, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023.

Francis Frank Marion Blythe Jr., 82, of Lincoln, died on July 21, 2023.

Martin Willard Pepion, age 47, Native to Cherokee, was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023. He is the son of Julia and Kirk Lossiah.
