Marcia Owle, 67, passed away unexpectedly following a tragic automobile accident. Her sudden passing leaves a deep sense of loss for her family, friends, church family, and all who knew her.

Merlina Joshua Sneed passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, in Cherokee, N.C., surrounded by her family. She was born on April 5, 1954, in Kolonia, Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, to Yens and Melisda Lepot, being the ninth of eleven children.

Celia Ann Smith (Cec), 35, of Cherokee, went home to be with her dad Monday, Aug. 10, 2026. A native of Cherokee, she was the daughter of Kim Jackson of Cherokee and the late James Edward Smith.

Brandon (Smalls) Kyle Sampson, 29, of the Birdtown Community, crossed over to be his with Dad on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026.

Henry M. Dover, 77, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of the late David Miller and Lula Bell Murphy Dover.

Zander Bull Moses Escobar-Oocumma, infant son of James Escobar and Makailah Oocumma, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 3, 2026.

Jacob Silas Evans, of Greenville, N.C., passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.
