Peggy Rosalie Lambert, 88, of Cherokee, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at Cherokee Indian Hospital. She was born on Sept. 5, 1935, to the late John A. Lambert and Sallie Ann Standingdeer Lambert.

Dale Franklin, 57 of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, Nov. 29, 2023.

Ronald “Ronnie” Walker Sr., 70, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 1, 2023.

Linda Faye Jumper, 61, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at Mission Hospital in Asheville. 

Lorretta Jean Jobe, 73, went to sleep in Jesus on Oct. 27, 2023, following a year of declining health. She belonged to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Edwin (Randy) Faus, 77, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 at his residence. A native of Greenville, S.C., he was the son of Christine Foster Reid of Greenville, S.C. and the late Thomas Reid.

JC Wachacha left this world on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 surrounded with love by family and friends.

Robert Kenneth Kanott, 72, of Cherokee passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023. He was born October 29, 1951, to the late Robert James and Stella Willnoty Kanott.
