Frances Maxine Studer, age 90, passed away at Tsali Care Center on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, after a brief illness.

Edwina Kay Amyotte, 77, of Lodge Grass, Mont., went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Dec. 17, 2023 while at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. 

Mary Ann Morgan Tyndall, aka Mikki Aganstata, 83, of Palatka, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.

Wayne Clinton Land, 92, went to his eternal home Friday, Jan. 19, 2024.

Maxine Bumgarner, age 92, of Gastonia, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.  She was born on June 23, 1931, in Cherokee, N.C., to the late Kyle Daly and Vera Bradley Moles.

Freddie “Bopper” Youngdeer, 55, of Cherokee, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 at the Cherokee Indian Hospital with his family by his side.

Mark Daniel Jones, 64, of Whittier, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024. A native of Alabama, he was the son of the late Carmon and Velma Myers Jones.

Sarah Lou Swayney, 76, of the Birdtown Community, went to her eternal home on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.
