Robert “Bobby” Long, 73, of Sylva, N.C., peacefully went to be with his creator on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Mary Frances Rose Booth went to heaven on Friday, April 19, 2024 to see her Dad (Ted Rose); Mom (Mildred Warren Rose); brothers, Don, Dale, and Teddy Rose; her sisters, Phyllis Rose Coons, Nancy Rose Long; and her sister and best friend, Alice Rose Lambert.

Phyllis Ann Lambert Tomlinson, 77, of Cherokee, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, after an extended illness in Haywood Regional Hospital.

Kevin Robert Blaine Wahnetah, of Cherokee, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Gainesville, Ga. at the age of 35 after battling a brief illness. Born on Dec. 2, 1988, he is the son of Sandy Welch and Tom Wahnetah (Clara). 

Emma Darlene Owle, 63, of Cherokee, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Harris Regional Hospital.  She was born July 6, 1960, in Gaston County, N.C., to the late Burl Barker and Reba Smith. 

Earl Thomas Carroll, age 59, of Cherokee, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Mission Hospital from complications from surgery.

Marjorie Yoder Arkansas, “Nee” to her grandchildren, departed her loving family on April 5, 2024.
