Larry Douglas Armachain Jr., 42, of Cherokee passed away July 28, 2024, after an extended illness.  He was born Jan. 31, 1982, to the late Larry Armachain and Pearl Wolfe.  He was a crafter who was very adept at carving, and beadwork.

Rose Marie McCullough, 69, of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C., after a period of declining health.

Gregory Allan Panther, age 58, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his Family. He is the son of Reginald Long and Katherine “Nora” Panther.

Joyce Alyne Oocumma (Peggy), of the Birdtown Community in Cherokee, N.C., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. 

Edwina Dean Lambert, 55, of Cherokee, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, July 20, 2024, after an extended illness.  She was born Aug. 6, 1968, to the late Chief Henry Ray Lambert and Patricia Eldean Sneed Lambert.   

Deweese Wolfe, 81, of the Big Cove Community, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 12, 2024. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of the late Amble and Eva Queen Wolfe and husband of the late Elsie Taylor Wolfe.

Keri Lynn Brady, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at her residence in Tennessee. She is the daughter of Blanche Vickers and the late Robert Brady Sr.

Jennie Mae Watty Salinas, of Cherokee, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Johnny Watty and Edith (Swayney) Wachacha.
