Tom Patrick Lawless passed away gracefully Monday, March 30, 2020. He was adored by his entire family and will be missed tremendously by each of them. 

Beloved husband, father, brother and son; Michael Brian Terrell, 42, a native of Swain County, made his heavenly journey home on April 17, 2020.

Rebecca Owl Boyum passed away peacefully on April 6, 2020 following a brief illness.

Joan Hope Nichols Edmonds passed away on April 15, 2020 in her home. She ended her nine-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Joan was born in Tenino, Wash. on Feb. 24, 1939. 

Jesse Reed, 71, of Cherokee, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 14, 2020.

Sylvia Kay Sharpe Morrow, 81, of Lake Junaluska, crossed over from this earthly life to her eternal joy in Christ on April 10, 2020. 

Ida Lee “Dixie” Cooper Arneach, 96, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 6, 2020. 

Talia Taylor, 29, of Cherokee, passed away on March 29, 2020.  She was born in Jackson County on Jan. 4, 1991, to Charles Edward Taylor and Mystical Parker.
