Tribal Listening Sessions on Suicide Prevention to continue
The joint Indian Affairs, Indian Health Service (IHS) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) listening sessions for tribes on suicide prevention that began this month will continue through December and into early February of 2011.

Food Pantry gets much-needed Donations
The Food Pantry in Cherokee was getting low on food so the Tribal Benefits Program decided to help out by soliciting donations from vendors and Tribal employees participating in last week’s Open Benefits Enrollment program.
