A federal jury sitting in the Asheville Division of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, at the United States Courthouse in Asheville, returned verdicts recently of not guilty on all counts in the prosecution of Derrick Cucumber, including a charge of first-degree murder.

On Taline Iga (Tuesday) Duliisdi (Sept.) 15, the CLARITY Act failed to pass a procedural cloture vote in U.S. Senate with a result of 50 against and 49 in favor.
