The National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Disabilities (NJC) recently honored the Cherokee Central Schools Related Professionals Team of Julie Ogletree, Tina Woody, Linda Lunnen, and Joanna Frizzell with the 2018 McLean Yoder Award for Professional Excellence (MYAPE).

Warren attended Gallup High School in Gallup, N.M and graduated May 29, 1967. Two weeks later, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Warren says that it was a combination of his desire to not be a burden to his parents and his brother’s correspondence
