Ethel M. Lambert, 101, of the Birdtown community, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 13, 2017. A native of Cherokee, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marinda McCoy Murphy and wife of the late Willard Lambert.
She was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirlene McCoy; and two sons, Robert and Willard (Bill) Lambert.
Ethel is survived by five children, Shirley Stepp, Inez Huskey, Caroldene Higgins, Alice Owle, and Walter (Bud) Lambert; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 15 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Ricky Stepp officiated with burial in the Birdtown Cemetery.
