Helen Marie Crisp, 80, of the Shoal Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Dec. 26, 2016. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Martin and Iowa Frankiewicz. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother Ricky Frankiewicz.
Helen is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bennett Crisp; two sons Dee Alexander Crisp, and Charles Randy Hughes; one daughter, Pamela Bowers; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; one brother Michael Frankiewicz; and two sisters, Judy Murphy and Vickie Frankiewicz.
Funeral Services will be held 2pm Friday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Revs. Larry Spencer and John Orr will officiate with burial in Union Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
