WHITTIER, N.C. – Hawthorn Heights is hosting the 2nd Annual Chip in for Change Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 2 at Smoky Mountain Country Club. All proceeds from the event will be donated to helping provide safe housing that creates opportunities for at-risk youth at Hawthorn Heights.

Check-In begins at 8 a.m., with shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m. The tournament is a four-person scramble with lunch provided. Prizes include first place, straightest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one mulligan, red tee, and throw a ball.

The Hawthorn Heights Annual Chip in for Change Charity Golf Tournament is more than just a day of golf. It is a chance to come together as a community to support at-risk youth in western North Carolina. Hawthorn Heights provides safe, structured housing and life-changing programs for young people ages 12–17 who are facing instability at home or other challenges. By sponsoring and/or registering for this event, your support helps provide these youth with opportunities to grow, heal, and thrive.
