Following are the winners in the Cherokee Youth Council Recycling Project Competition:

1st Place Prize of $1,000 went to the Cherokee Elementary 1st Grade Block – Recycled Cardboard Council House with little people milk cartons inside

2nd place Prize of $250 went to the Swain Middle Special Education Class – Recycled wood pallet Bee Keeper Station

3rd Place Prize of $250 went to a local teen, Ms. Katie Hill and her family – Recycled Milk Jug igloo
