The Opt-In Community Workshop planned for Jackson County on Thursday, Feb. 20 has been postponed to early March.
“When we confirm the date, we’ll be right back with you for the details,” said Opt-In officials. “What prompted this last-minute change was the decision of Jackson County officials to move a meeting to February 20 because of last week’s bad weather. The County meeting is an important one, likely to draw a crowd, including elected officials, County staff and others we want at the Opt-In session. So we’re moving our meeting to avoid the conflict.”
