Nov. 24 from 2-3pm at the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore, Tenn. W. Jeff Bishop, the president of the Trail of Tears Association’s George chapter, will present a free lecture on Removal in the Heart of the Cherokee Nation: Crisis in George, 1838.
