I would like to thank members of the Chief John Alfred Tahquette Educational Trust Scholarship Committee and First Citizens Bank for choosing me as a recipient for the scholarship for 2013-2014. This means allot to me as a Higher Education student finishing up my bachelor’s degree in studio arts at the Institute of American Indian Arts, Santa Fe, NM. A lot of good things are happening for me this year and next year will only get better. Next fall 2014, I plan to enter into a master’s degree program in Santa Fe, NM for art therapy and counseling.
