Francis Allen Larch, 78, of Cherokee, passed away on Jan. 19, 2013 at the Tsali Care Center of Cherokee following an extended illness.
He was the son of the late William Larch Sr. and Anita Davis Larch of Cherokee. He was a Veteran of the US Army and loving kind father with a great sense of humor, who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior on April 19, 2011.
He is survived by daughters Tina Oocumma and husband Farrell and Stephany Larch and companion Wesley Mashburn; two grandchildren Kobe Mashburn and Madison Mashburn and Ms. Genevieve George all of Cherokee; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers William “Bill” Larch, Jr. and John Larch and one baby sister.
A planned visitation is being held at the Bethabara Baptist Church starting at 6pm on Monday, Jan. 21. Francis will remain at the church until the hour of service of 2pm on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Pastor Eddie Sherrill and Mr. Ray Kinsland will officiate. An immediate burial will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery with Wesley Mashburn, Rocky Larch, Farrell Oocumma, Neil Ferguson, Chris Larch and Danny Larch will act at Pall Bearers.
