James Lloyd Wolfe, 56, of Cherokee passed away Dec. 2, 2012 at Tsali Care Center following an extended illness. He was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, a resident of the Big Cove community, and was a member of the Big Cove Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Taylor (Lobo) Wolfe and Ida Lee Sequoyah Wolfe.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharla Wolfe of the home; son-in-law Daniel Vargas; grandson, Daniel Vargas, Jr. (Junior); brothers, Donald and wife Kathy, Charlie and wife Carol, and Boonie and wife Debra; sister, Katherine Long and husband, Melvin; numerous nieces and nephews, and many good friends who will miss him dearly.
The funeral service will be held at the Big Cove Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 2pm.
The Rev. James “Bo” Parris, Rev. Doris McMillian, Rev. Frank Cooper, and Rev. Ben Tapp will officiate. The Big Cove Free Labor group will serve as Pall Bearers along with friends and family.
