The Yellowhill Judo Club traveled to Winston Salem on Aug. 20 to compete in the 2011 Nito Cup. The following placed in their respected divisions:
– William F. Lambert, 1st place 100kg Men’s
– Isabel Lambert, 1st place7-8 girls
– Chloe Lambert, 2nd place 7-8 girls
– Nickolas Wolfe, 1st place 6 & under boys
Sensei William F. Lambert threw all six of his opponents by Ippon. Isabel, Chloe and Nickolas threw all four of their opponents by Ippon (full point in Judo) and none of the children’s matches lasted longer than 10 seconds.
