The Handmade Homemade Homegrown Market is designed to offer the opportunity for enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and area produce vendors to showcase their traditional/cultural/unique arts and crafts, and local produce, for the community and visitors in an outdoor setting for selling of items.
Spaces are available at the Handmade Homemade Homegrown Market is every day from 9 am – 3 pm and is on a first come basis; no assigned spaces. The Handmade Homemade Homegrown Market is located in the front parking lot at the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds. Craft and art vendors must be enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. All craft and art items for sale must be hand made by an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Produce or food may be sold at the Handmade Homemade Homegrown Market as long as it is grown by local producers. The vendor is responsible for setup and cleanup of the space, vendors must bring heavy duty trash bags to bag their garbage, securing bags properly at the end of the day. Vendors are responsible for bank and sales, and securing proper governmental permits.
All vendors must complete an application form and sign a liability release. No fee is required for set up. Equipment may be rented from the Cherokee Indian Fairgrounds ($20 per tent, $10 per table and two chairs) Monday through Thurday 8am to 4 pm. Equipment is subject to availability. A copy of this agreement must be available for inspection at any time and must be kept at the space during the Handmade Homemade Homegrown Market.
