Vice Chief Larry Blythe was appointed to the newly formed Graham County Economic Development Commission by a unanimous vote of the Graham County Board of Commissioners on Monday, April 4.
“I look forward to working with Mr. Blythe,” said Josh Carpenter, Graham County planner and economic development director.
Dr. Mickey Duvall, Graham County manager, is the former EBCI economic development director. “Vice Chief Blythe’s appointment to the Graham County EDC Board is a great asset to the economic development organization and will help foster a closer partnership in many areas between Graham County, including the Snowbird tribal areas, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in Cherokee.
Vice Chief Blythe lives with his wife in the Snowbird area of Graham County.
