Ronald Little Chief Nierenhausen, 26, of Cherokee died unexpectedly on October 22, 2010. He was Quechan/Lakota and had lived among the Cherokee for the past ten years and worked in construction.
He is survived by his mother, Pricilla Jean Prettybird of Yuma, Arizona, fiancé, Beverly Kimsey, children, Tisi, Oosti, Julia, and Kolby, of the home,mother-in-law to be Mabel Frizzell , brothers, Warrior, Conan, Theron, harlna, Jim DeLaToree of Washington, Joe Kern Sr of Illinois, and Wade and wife Maria of Cherokee, sisters, Linda DeLaTorre and Pascha Nierenhausen of Illinois, sister Paula of California, neices, Buttons of Cherokee, Chloe, Mattlyn, Natalee and Summer of Illinois, and nephews Mato of Cherokee, Mohammed, Sammy and Joseph Kern Jr of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Nierenhausen of Pierre, South Dakota.
The visitation will be held on Thursday October 28, 2010 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the chapel of Long House Funeral Home.
