SYLVA – Four people were arrested and over 39 grams of Marijuana was seized during a search that was conducted at 1428 South River Road, in Sylva.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office assisted the North Carolina Department of Probation and Parole with a search of this residence on Sunday, March 14. Officers discovered the Marijuana and packaging paraphernalia that indicated that the Controlled Substance was being prepared to be sold.
Those arrested are:
Kimberly Natasha Owle, 17 years of age, listing a South River Road address in Sylva, NC, was charged with one count of Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana, on count Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the use of Controlled Substances, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She has been released after posting a $7000.00 bond.
Joseph Diaz, 18 years of age, listing a South River Road address in Sylva, NC, was charged with one count of Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana, on count Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the use of Controlled Substances, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He has been released after posting a $7000 bond.
Pedro Gonzalez Diaz, 45 years of age, listing a Bayside Drive address in Cullowhee, NC, was charged with one count of Simple Possession of Marijuana and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He has been released after posting a $2000 bond.
Carlos Anguiano Mireles, 27 years of age, listing a South River Road address in Sylva, NC, was charged with one count of Simple Possession of Marijuana and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He has been released after posting a $2000 bond.
