Cherokee High School has named 10 young ladies to its 2012 Homecoming Court. The new homecoming queen will be crowned on Friday, Sept. 14 during halftime of the Cherokee football game against Hayesville.
Jordyn, 12th grade, is the daughter of Jennifer Thompson and resides in the Yellowhill Community. She is a member of the cross country team.
Avery, 11th grade, is the daughter of Chris and Keila Mintz and resides in Whittier. She is a member of the volleyball and cross country teams.
Kendall, 10th grade, is the daughter of Bruce and Sunshine Toineeta and resides in the Wolftown Community. She is a member of the volleyball and cross country teams.
Ashley, 12th grade, is the daughter of Frankie and Andrea Bottchenbaugh and resides in the Big cove Community. She is a member of the varsity cheerleading squad.
Alexis, 12th grade, is the daughter of Matt and Alicia Maney and resides in Sylva. She is a member of the varsity cheerleading squad and the cross country team.
Andrea, 11th grade, is the daughter of Faye McCoy and resides in the Birdtown Community. She is a member of the varsity cheerleading squad.
Tyra, 9th grade, is the daughter of John and Kelly Sampson and resides in the Yellowhill Community. She is a member of the volleyball team.
Deija, 12th grade, is the daughter of Brandon Burgess and Amy Anders and resides in the Big Y Community. She is a member of the volleyball team.
Dre, 10th grade, is the daughter of Bo and Kim Crowe and resides in the Big Y Community. She is a member of the volleyball team.
Holly, 11th grade, is the daughter of Cynthia and Richard Meuse and resides in the Big Cove Community.
