Cherokee’s Kennan Panther was named the EBCI Emergency Management Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 17-21. Panther, who led the team in tackles, had 15 and a 44-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Friday, Aug. 21 game against the Trinity Academy Knights. Panther was a pre-season All-State pick.
