Joshua Wesley Crowe, 23, of Cherokee passed away on March 28, 2012 at Mission Hospital in Asheville after a period of declining health. He was a member of the Bigwitch Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Wright Crowe and his grandfather, Warren (Super) Crowe.
He is survived by his father, John Wesley Crowe and step mother, Carolyn Sneed, and by his very special uncle and aunt who were like a second father and mother, Melvin and Charla Crowe; a brother, Jerry Bubba Lossiah; sisters, Kelsey Crowe, and Pascha Lossiah; his maternal Grandmother, Iva lee Wright, his paternal grandmother, Lillian Crowe, and nephew, Kendryk Royce Crowe-Jackson; Big Uncle, Warren Crowe, Jr., and uncle Ben Wright and family; aunts, Cindy Crowe, Diana “Dee” Crowe and girls, and Sharon Wright and family; and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his “Big Brothers”, Kevin Jackson, Daniel West, Albert Arch, Sam” Big 10” Panther, Jimmy Smith, and Davey Stamper.
The body remained at the church until the service hour of 11am on Saturday March 31. Burial followed at the Pamela Wright Crowe Cemetery.
The Rev. James (Jimbo) Sneed and the Rev. Richard (Herbie) Lossiah officiated. Kevin Jackson, Dike Sneed, and the Cherokee Boys Club Garage Staff served as Pall Bearers.
