Cherokee schools, state schools closed until May 15
North Carolina public school students will be out of school for at least two more months due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Coronavirus prompts WCU to postpone May commencement ceremonies
In response to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, Western Carolina University is postponing all spring commencement ceremonies originally scheduled for May 8 and 9, and will announce by April 3 plans for rescheduling the events.
