World Series of Poker event set for Harrah’s Cherokee

 

The third WSOP (World Series of Poker) Circuit stop of the season at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort is set to begin Wednesday, April 12.  This year marks the fifth year that Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort has hosted a WSOP Circuit Event. For the past two Circuit seasons, Harrah’s Cherokee has hosted three Championship-qualifying events each year in addition to the WSOP Circuit Championship itself; now billed as the Global Casino Championship which pools great players from events around the world.

This April, the tournament will feature 12 Ring events with games including No-Limit Hold’em, Omaha High-Low and Pot Limit Omaha, in addition to Seniors and Ladies events. There will also be $2,000,000 in guarantees up for grabs as well as two seats in the Global Casino Championship in August.

Registration for April Circuit events at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort begin at 8am on April 12. A schedule of the Circuit Event can be found at WSOP.com.
