A Future Agriculture Facility? Community Planning meeting

March 18 and April 29 from 6-8pm in the school cafeteria at the Smoky Mountain Elementary School.  The purpose of these community outreach meetings is to get the public’s input on the development of the Drexel site, so to meet real community needs for placed based agricultural economic development.  The meetings will listen to individual needs to make the effort site specific in respect to agriculture.  People are encouraged to come to this open community meeting to help Jackson County identify specific agriculture development at the old Drexel Site for the surrounding counties and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.  Info: Robert J.
