10:40 a.m.      Authorization  for the Natural Resources and Construction Program to enter into Public Law 93-638 Title V Construction Agreement, be granted a limited waiver of sovereign immunity, and that the Tribal Construction Program be authorized to initiate all documents in regard to funding the projects listed (Item No. 12)

 

10:50 a.m.      Request that a hearing with the Chiefs, Tribal Council, Utilities Commission, Water Department Managers, and Tribal Finance be set up to discuss the Water and Sewer billings for Lisa Montelongo (Item No. 13)

 

11:00 a.m.      Authorization for the EBCI to provide the financial resources needed to construct and operate the facilities and services included in the proposal for recovery center construction and services and operating revenue not to exceed $16 million and $2.2 million (Item No. 14)

 

11:10 a.m.      Confirmation that the Tribal Council desire to have Camp Watia established and pledge $500,000 toward the building of Camp Watia (Item No. 15)

 

11:20 a.m.      Authorization to pursue a partnership with the town of Andrews to provide funding at a cost of $20,000 as a grant match for a sewer expansion project to the EBCI Cherokee County Senior Center (Item No. 16)

 

11:30 a.m.      Authorization to develop the entertainment complex featuring a bowling lanes component to be constructed at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Resort and that Tribal Council authorizes the funding for said project to be provided to TCGE from the fund balance of Endowment No. 2 in the amount of $15,000,000.
