Garfield Long, you are the best and I love you for helping me each year that I choose to run for any pageant. I didn’t forget you last week in my long thank you. I just wanted you to have a thank you, just for you. I am really appreciative for you helping me, and you are teaching me in the old way to pronounce things and you make it easy for me to learn. I got a lot of compliments that they could understand my speech the best, so thanks again for all the help you gave me this year and in the years past. Keeping our language alive is the most important asset we, as Cherokee, have. Sgi!
