WASHINGTON – Representative Mark Meadows (R-NC) released the following statement today on the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Mark Meadows“On this 12th anniversary of September 11th, 2001, we remember those who lost their lives in such a horrific attack on our nation,” Rep. Meadows said.  “Our first responders deserve our deepest gratitude for their bravery and selflessness.  We recognize that terrorism will not shake our resolve, and we know God is faithful to renew our strength.

“As we reflect on that day, we also remember the four Americans who lost their lives in last year’s terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi.  We cannot rest until we have answers for the American people and justice for those who paid with their lives.

“Today, as we were 12 years ago, we are united as Americans.  We will never forget.”
