Superintendent addresses staff

Cherokee Central Schools interim superintendent Dr. Scott Penland addresses faculty and staff in the Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center on the morning of Monday, Aug. 5.  Dr. Penland outlined three goals he would like to attain this coming school year including: improve morale, improve attendance, and attract and retain quality employees.  “Academics is our priority,” he said.  “We must set the bar high.
